Another Jail Nightmare




This scenario is happening in our jails, all across the country. An average everyday Joe goes to jail, for something simple like traffic violations. And ends up being assaulted or violated, by other inmates or detainees. I say detainees because often this is happening, in the jails holding cells. The inmates are the perpetuators I hope, surely the detainees aren't guilty. I would think the people guilty of this, are going to be there a while. Sometimes these victims don't even make it to the general population. For simple non-violent charges like public intoxication, it's usually only a few hours stay. In cases like this it ultimately costs the taxpayers, he won his lawsuit. Unfortunately it was well deserved though. All this supposedly happened, under the watchful eye of the law.
