Around the world many massacres occured such as the one in Tiananmen Square. 1989 was a year that brought much depression but also had events that brought America to what it is today. The cost of simple items such as bread and gas were a lot cheaper then they are today. Tragedies that occurred across the sea's also was a big part, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall. The writer had the time to research these events that happened in 1989 and put them together in a website.
