FYI

Canadian and German universal medicine went bankrupt. It resulted in national financial crisis in both countries. Germany immediately changed their rules to deny many common medical procedures in order to cut costs. Canada followed suit.Vote for universal healthcare if:

1. You want a group of politically connected physicians deciding what treatments and procedures you are allowed.

2. You want to see a reduction in common treatments and procedures when compared to today's private insurance guarantees.

3. You want your doctor to follow every guideline and rule of universal healthcare procedures regardless how they affect you.

4. You want to pay cash out of pocket for unauthorized procedures denied by your government.

5.You want your government to decide what is best for you.

Actually, you're getting that now -- just insert HMO where you put in government.

I don't think universal healthcare is the answer...I'm just making a point. I would be more supportive of universal ACCESS to private healthcare than I would a government-run plan.

  2. We're a long way from universal healthcare. What make insurance competitive is the government staying out.
