We're Not Prepared For Playschool Politics

I'm all for young people getting involved in the political atmosphere. Having said that;"you don't get to be the boss the first day on the job". Unless of course no better qualified person is available for the job. But that's not the case here. Political experience and life experience are two different things. For all those people that use inexperiemce a measuring stick. Just because he's not incarcerated isn't a reason to elect him to office. Most eighteen yr. olds aren't mature enough to handle such a responsibility as being City Councilman. Memphis city government isn't balanced enough to support a person growing up on the job. With seven of the thirteen seats being up for grabs. I don't think this is the time for experimentation. I have no problem with a young person running for office. I do have a problem with older voters seeing him as a solution to the city's problems. Why do we feel the need to elect a person just because he's young and inexperienced? Since we can't get a brain surgeon to do a job that doesn't require such expertice. We want to poison the well for all the other politicians. And put the first person without a negative history in office. Totally disregading what matters most. Does the young man possess the characteristics of honesty and integrity? This young man has never even paid rent. He still lives at his parents home, and works for his father. That's not a bad thing, but not such a good thing either. Below is the link to his campaign website:
