It Could've Been Me

I was just telling my wife that Barack OBama was filling the slot Harold Ford Jr. had been preparing for all these years. Just as I was telling her about how the whole thing came about. General Wesley Clark was conducting an interview on MSNBC.Locally he convinced a couple of well known Democratic officials to come out on his behalf. That was the pivotal point of Harold Ford Jr.'s political career. Every since he supported General Wesley Clark instead of John Kerry for the Democratic nomination for the president. His popularity has gone down hill. I'm sure as he sits somewhere watching these results, he can't help but think. If I had picked a different candidate in 2004, it could've been me.

  1. I see where John Kerry is endorsing Barack OBama. I don't know if that's such a good idea. The people didn't want him. He should have just kept quiet.
