Cash Lives Up To His Name

If you get what you pay for, Memphis should have a winner this time. The new superintendent of schools earns more than the Vice President of the United States. Past superintendents have been accused of using Memphis as a stepping stone for higher positions. I think Kriner Cash hit the jackpot. I don't think we'll have that problem with him anytime soon. Gerry House and Carol Johnson had already primed the pump. As a result of their actions. Cash lives up to his name.

The president makes 400K a year so I doubt that to be true. Cash is making 260K unless he recieved a substantial raise over Carol Johnson's old salary.

  2. Thanks for the FYI. Though my point remains the same. He is paid handsomely for his appointment. The post was written late at night, so I didn't research the comment. It was off the cuff. The last time I heard the President's salary talked about, that's how much it was. You probably looked it up.

That's alright, I remembered hearing about it when Bill Clinton was being discussed. When he was in office, he and Congress enacted it for the next President. Thye really had no choice, otherwise the Supreme Couyrt Justinces would never get a raise or some of the memebers of Congress. The law states something to the effect that no other Government official can make as much or more than the president.

I wasn't hating on you. Cash will be paid quite well but then again it was basically the same salary as Carol Johnson was making, not sure of the other benefits such as the car allowance.

  5. Anonymous 6:11,

Please forgive me for assuming your motives were ill conceived. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the info. You are confirmation that one should always follow his first mind. I figured I should look thae President's salary up to make sure. But I didn't. I planned to do it later. You never know who is reading and when.

One good thing though. It started this conversation.

I keep updated on all your blogging normally 3-4 times a week.
Some thigns I agree, soemt higns I dont but I have never really posted but once or twice.

I also read Matthews Blog but most of his rantings are more for my entertainment. Some things hs has are valuable and pertinent but he is the type of person you can't rely on for truth in reporting.

He only shows the one side and half truths.

I look at m first post and can see how it can be interpeted as me being an ass so in the future i'll try to be less direct and more repsectful I guess you can say.
