I made a statement today on Andrew Clarksenior's show, about Steve Cohen not being endorsed by his own kind. If his competition is going to play the race card. I think they're playing the wrong one. Jewish people stick together. Why aren't they sticking with him? I bet Andrew didn't receive any emails from the usual Nancy boys disputing what I said. All the ill informed voters of the 9th district, in addition to those people with their own agendas. Who take advantage of every opportunity to brag about what he's done. Get awfully quiet when faced with facts. He is good with the public relations, but his record is never scrutinized. Nikki Tinker was right about him, though she won't be any better. The real debate just isn't there. Not because I haven't tried to start one. I just haven't had any takers. I just can't get no argunent here.

ReplyDeleteAbout JStreetPAC
JStreetPAC is the first and only federal Political Action Committee established to explicitly promote meaningful American leadership to end the Arab-Israeli and Palestinian-Israel conflicts peacefully and diplomatically.
The PAC's goal is to demonstrate that there is meaningful political and financial support available to candidates for federal office from large numbers of Americans who believe a new direction in American policy will advance U.S. interests in the Middle East and promote real peace and security for Israel and the region.
In 2008, the PAC will endorse and raise money for a small number of candidates for the Senate and House. Endorsements will be announced throughout the campaign year. Recommend candidates you think we should consider supporting here.
Individual contributors will be able to direct contributions to endorsed candidates through the PAC, thereby making an important political statement about the motivation for their support. JStreetPAC will solicit contributions to candidates both online and off.
The PAC's Finance Committee will recruit major donors who can make and raise larger contributions to candidates. The PAC's online fundraising campaign will mobilize large numbers of smaller donors to contribute to endorsed candidates as well. JStreetPAC may also hold fundraising events for endorsed candidates.
JStreetPAC, an independent federal Political Action Committee, is part of the J Street family of organizations, which includes J Street, a lobbying and advocacy organization.
This was probably sent by some undercover homosexual or pro-life advocate that is trying to hide their identity. I still stand behind my original statement. Steve Cohen doesn't have the support of other Jews. I have a strong suspicion of who sent me this email, but I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteInstead of disputing me, maybe they should tell Steve Cohen to put it on his website. It would go a long ways toward giving him credibility with other Jews, if indeed Jstreet is legitimate. It would be the only instance of any so called Jewish political organization supporting him.
There are extremist of every kind. I was watching "Lock-up" the other day, and they had a gay gang in jail. So it doesn't surprise me when outsiders try to join up with other forces. All Jews are concerned with Isreali relations. But what does that have to do with the people of the 9th district?
From the President to the state representatives. This is the worst crop of candidates I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThis was wriiten in a article dated July 22,2008.
ReplyDeleteThe findings were released as part of a recent survey of American Jews by the new progressive pro-Israel group J Street. They seem to upturn some of this year's conventional political wisdom.
For those who have been reading this story. I owe you an apology. After going back and reading Cohen's website it does appear that Jstreet is listed as an endorsement.
ReplyDeleteI may sound bull headed here, but that still doesn't change what I said.
You are being bull headed but I get your point.
ReplyDeleteI got a new perspective of what Steve Cohen is doing behind the scenes. I still don't support him. I just didn't see the forest for the trees.
ReplyDeleteThis was the worst crop of candidates I've ever seen. Steve Cohen didn't have any competition.
