Do The Right Thing

In all fairness I must say. "I didn't actually talk to Mr. Members but his dedicated wife. She is probably his biggest fan." To have a strong woman standing by your side is always a feather in your hat. She isn't the one running for office though. It just makes your battle that much easier. It's safe to say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She was like a tape recording of him in a female voice. A lot of people claim to be Republicans, just like a lot a lot of people claim to be Christians these days. When the fit hits the shan. You'll find out if they have any backbone then.

This race has nothing to do with me personally, but it does affect my position as a Conservative. The question arose as to why the RNC hasn't reached out to blacks in the past. Could it be because blacks are so monolithic in their thinking? It would be a waste of time and money to seek their support. I tried to explain that the reason the RNC doesn't support black male candidates is because they're unreliable as a whole. Not to make the sweeping indictment that all black men are weak. Just that an extrenely high number are. Look at all the high profile blacks that have abandoned their party just because Barack Obama is in the race. Not to mention those like Ray Nagin who compromised their positions earlier on to get elected. In a previous article I pointed out the racial fallout we are witnessing.

We have to come to the realization that we're one in ten in America. What ever happens to this country, happens to blacks as well. We can't stand in line to share the spoils of war. When we hadn't participated in the battle. Even when you do that doesn't always insure a big payday. You don't always get paid for doing what's right. At some point someone has to make a sacrifice for the good of others. Even when it doesn't go the way you want. You still have to do the right thing.

The jury is still out on him. Go to his website and see what you think:
