Palin Picked Out To Be Picked On

Initially I wasn't in favor of a woman being on the ticket. I was a fan of the message and not so much the ticket. John McCain was among my last choices for nominee. As I watched John McCain's concession speech last night amd listened to news stories today. I couldn't help but feel sorry for Sarah Palin and her family. What did they really benefit from all of this? Compared to the disruption it has caused? I know she has been called the new face of the Republican party. I don't think she will. Before she was picked to be John McCain's running mate. She was just a governor with a 90% approval rating. In the short time that she was under scrutiny, all her dirty laundry has been aired. Now Sarah Palin and her family have been labeled as a group of dysfunctional air heads. All the other candidates have moved on to bigger things or went back to business as usual. It just seems like Sarah Palin was picked out to be picked on.

  1. Now the elections are over and I'm happy that majority of the U.S. voted for the person they wanted as President-elect. Now they will not have to blame Bush in case anything happens. Now I will be keeping an eye out on how Obama plays his part as the President in a few months.

With this in mind, I guess McCain and Palin played their role in running against Obama and Biden in order to succeed to be the next leaders. They all played a good race. Let's all learn to work together and support everyone.

  2. I'm not happy with the results, but America has spoken. We'll see if he is able to make good on his promises in the near future. I hope he does.I think this country owes Bush an apology.

George Bush is a wash but Sarah Palin is one fine chick. I wish they had took a picture of her coming out of the shower with the towel wrapped around her.

Her name recognition has gone up 100%. I for one didn't even know her.

You argued with me forever about Palin back in September, Common, but I knew it was coming. I knew they'd throw her under the bus after the election. To think that McCain's own people are the main ones after her is sad. Even though I didn't care for her, she doesn't deserve this kind of treatment.

Your post made me think about something. This could be the work of some lying liberals. Like Gov. Palin said " it's hard to defend yourself against someone who won't reveal themselves. This could just be an attempt to further sully her name. At the same time smearing John McCain.

Barack Obama's campaign was so much better and more effective then McCains. Obama apprently had good people who ran a tight ship. McCains campaign just couldnt compete, stay as focussed or keep there mouths shut as wells as Obama's.

I wouldn't doubt that somebody from McCains campiagn said things about Sarah Palin. In their mind they needed a scapegoat to explain McCains loss.
