Steven Chu Picked For Energy Secretary

Barack Obama has chosen Steven Chu to head up the Energy Department in his cabinet. Chu comes filled with impressive credentials. He was part of the Stanford Physicist team that was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004. He currently heads the Berkley Laboratories with 4000 employees and a budget of $650 million. His commitment to finding new ways to harness solar energy and work toward ending greenhouse erosion. Both Will be sorely needed in order for all these anticipated jobs Barack Obama has promised in the energy field. Steven Chu says "every home in America can be more energy efficient for $1000, but consumers would rather have a granite counter top."
