You couldn't pry Coach Calipari away from Memphis with a crowbar. The fans in this city,myself included, have settled for a different type of winning than those other schools in the hunt for a new basketball coach. Memphians have become content with the hotshot player stopping by for a year on the way to the NBA.Contrary to what athletic director R.C. Johnson would have you think. We don't have to try to outbid any of the other schools. He is such a cheerleader he must be getting a kickback. He has to be one of John Calipari's biggest fans. Let's just see if anybody comes up with the juice (money) to make Calipari leave the Tiger program. Don't believe the hype.He undoubtedly has one of the sweetest deals already of any college basketball coach in America.
