I agree with almost everything he said,which is unusual. But it was somewhat bittersweet for me overall. President Obama only puts his foot down when he talks to other blacks. Where was that show of force when he talked to the gays,Hispanics or Muslims?
He has gone on a worldwide apology tour until he got to Africa. Then all of a sudden he got on his high horse and took the oppurtunity to chastize blacks. He was suddenly preaching a Conservative message of accountability and responsibility. Last year Jesse Jackson called this type of speech "talking down to blacks."
Talk about being hypocritical. Blacks hung Bill Cosby out to dry for saying almost the same thing. Since that little tidbit seemed to go over the crowds head. That indicates that his speech won't really change anything.
