Wharton Riled Up on Passage of Norris Bill: MyFoxMEMPHIS.com

I am of the opinion that the Memphis City Council should have dropped the school charter last week. All they did was give the opposition more time to fine tune their attack. Mayor Wharton tried to go along and the Republicans played it to their advantage. The governor gave him an assurance of a fair hearing, but obviously he didm't share that with Sen. Norris. They have no plans of playing by any establshed rules. They're creating them as they go.
