I'm going to give Josh Pastner a chance to work it out. He gave Coach Finch his props and that bought him some time with me. But I think this is an indication of his weakness as a coach. He can recruit these players but he can't coach them. Every year we lose valuable players due to discipline problems. In the past he recruited players for John Calipari. Now he has to deal with them himself. The boys know who is doing the coaching and who is getting paid. Effective or not he is the boss.
Tigers lose 76-72. Over-rated is a fact not a thought. Too may players either way over-rated or just not giving their all. I was not able to watch the game but it appears to me we were out-shot and out-coached, again. If we get lucky, we should be 25-10 going into the NCAA tournament, assuming we get that far. Had to give up my seats this year due to health issues and at this point, it appears that the lost seats was not such a bad thing. Losing without talent is excusable but losing due to lack of desire and lack of coaching is just plain frustrating.
