Looking Shady

This guy is almost seven feet tall and not athletic. How did he think he was going to go unnoticed on American Idol? He sat up there like nothing was wrong knowing he had outstanding warrants. Well, he's no longer a fugitive from the law. Instead of coming on television looking dumb. His momma should have told him what was right. You know the police have been to her house lookng for him Now  they both are looking shady.

A disqualified American Idol finalist was too "scared" to disclose his criminal past to producers over fears he would be penalised.

Jermaine Jones' troubled history was addressed at the start of the show on Wednesday as host Ryan Seacrest confirmed the singer would be given the boot.

Seacrest told viewers that TV bosses had received information that "left us with no choice but to eliminate one of our finalists from the competition".

Footage of executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick confronting Jones about his four outstanding arrest warrants was aired later in the episode.

When asked why he concealed his past, Jones admitted, "I just was scared, nervous. I didn't want to get judged. I didn't want to get penalized."

Three warrants were issued after Jones allegedly drove on a suspended licence and the fourth was for disorderly conduct.
