Watching

The verdict is still out on this Memphis Urban TV1. I'm trying not to base my opinion on who I know is involved. But "birds of a feather flock together. The idea of a black owned television station is not a new one. But it would be a first for this area. It could be an asset to this community if used properly. It could also set it back forty years if used the wrong way. We don't need a twenty-four hour daily call to arms or jealousy forum. I saw something like this before in "Enough is Enough". The overall idea was good, but it was destroyed by individual agendas. There have been technical difficulties for the last two days. I'll be watching if it ever gets off the ground.

  2. The verdict is in. Taylor Brown thinks he is smarter than most people that watch this station. And Thaddeus Matthews is his star attraction. This love for black people is partly an act. The main color here is green. He wants low income blacks to shop with him just because he's black.

Taylor Brown isn't even a Pharmacist. He has a degree but it's not in Pharmacy. I think Ivory Taylor was a career soldier who saved his money and went to school on the G.I. Bill. I don't know whether he met his wife or sent her to school. But that's not the issue.

When I heard him say he understood why Thaddeus did what he did. I had recollections of Jennings Bernard, but this guy is in deeper. I think this is where the trouble starts. Thaddeus is in his debt.
