Too Early

I am going to dedicate today's blogging to Memphis sports. I'm still bittersweet about the University of Memphis basketball program. My disdain started when they were still known as Memphis State. That program would never gain optimum success in the R.C. Johnson era. They didn't treat Coach Larry Finch right. He is still the  winningest coach the university has ever had. But Josh Pastner had nothing to do with that. Neither did the players.

Now that the program has new leadership at the helm. Clean the slate completely. Get rid of  the sense of entitlement based on past accomplishments.  They need to forget about rankings and tournament seeds and just play.  I have been saying all along. They lost all the important games at the beginning  of  the season. If they're playing good now it's about time. Every time they get some national attention. They immediately lose a game. I noticed this in a Farrakhan Hall interview. They start taking credit too early.

PS':  The Tigers were 6th in the nation in attendance. in 2012 at 324,570
