More than his skill, it was the competition or the lack thereof. Marcos Maidana thumped Adrien Broner like a drum. And Marcos wasn't even undefeated. How would he fare against a Timothy Bradley, Keith Thurman or Shawn Porter? Broner has been hiding in the shadows of Floyd Mayweather for years now. But Marcos Maidana uncovered him.
He wasn't as good as he believed and Maidana was better. Now Broner can focus on his boxing. And leave the antics alone.
