Bait And Switch

I knew there would be some controversy surrounding "12 Years A Slave," being voted picture of the year; Those anonymous judges who now claim  they didn't watch the picture can't be trusted anyway. What pictures did they watch? The fact that they admitted to voting for a film they didn't even see  Tarnishes the whole Oscar organization and it's integrity. What about American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club and The Wolf of Wall Street? Did they watch any of them? Not just this particular film.  

I doubt anyone will admit that this was planned, but it worked nonetheless. We never saw the director's face, but we always heard his name. How many people expected Steve McQueen to be a black man with a British accent?  If Steve McQueen was still alive today he would be eighty-four yrs. old.  The perfect age to be receiving awards. I bet at least one of these voters was tricked. They fell for the old "bait and switch."
