Two Out Of Three, Is Bad

The familiar addage is two out of three, ain't bad. Usually that sounds good. Except in this particular case. When it comes to the congressional "Black Caucus". That's not necessarily true. Since it's inception in 1969, there have only been three Black Republicans included. Two congressman, and one senator. Even one of those refused to join. I find two things wrong with this picture. First it shows that all the Black races eggs, are in the same basket politically. Blacks support the Democratic party with 88% of the vote. If you want our vote, just run Democrat. Secondly, we haven't had a voice in quite some time. The Republicans have held the majority, of both the house and senate. For the last twelve years. You can't score, if you're not in the game.

Senator Brooke (R-Mass.) was the only Black Senator , read his bio below :

  1. I nominate Black Conservative for State Senate district 33. The seat formerly held by Steve Cohen.
