  1. I was afraid of this. I didn't say it, because I didn't want to be right.

  2. Anti-T,

I think she did a pretty good job myself. It didn't matter how well she performed. If it wasn't this week, it would be next. That was Bishop's favorite.

  3. Anti-T,

I wonder how Antigone is doing. She was sick when she last responded. I wonder how she is doing? Keep her in your prayers.

i was at sam's earlier, i just got home a little while ago. i was so shocked to learn paris was eliminated. she has such a beautiful singing voice, now that speaking voice is strange. well, i take that back, she is such a great singer i often forget that she is only like, what 16 or 17? so, i guess her voice should be soft like that.
when i first heard her sing take five during the auditions, i was awestruck. i pegged her for the winner. mandisa was my second favorite, she had that "big momma type soul", you know the kind that made you take notice. sorta like kelly price and martha walsh. what do yall think of the
brittenum(sp) twins. if they were still in the competition, do yall think they would be in the top 5?

    anti,
i cant agree with you more!!!! paris' version of kiss was worse than when i do it on kareoke, and she knew all the words! LOL. i didnt think it was appropriate for her age. and who in the hot heck told her to dance like that? simon?

i listen to counrty, soul, jazz, gospel, r&b, hiphop, reggae...what ever i just love music. but my altime favorites is ballads and elliot has stolen my heart with his voice. shoot, girl, if i was 15 years younger and not married.....i'd be on a plane for him.......hhhmmmm, now let me stop lying.....i said the same thing about dewayne wade....hehehe. but i changed my mine in the airport....hehehe. i wish!!
well anyway i gotta go, book report due next week. homework is wearing me out, i did not like middle school when i was there, and i certainly dont feel like doing it again. but then again, i guess its really cool, because im learning tons and tons of stuff from these next generation textbooks. wow. the group of children in middle and elementary school are gonna be really sharp, it they absorb what is being taught. later.

  6. Thanks for asking about how I am doing Common and Anti-tandbush. I guess I should have let you guys know my blog name is now "blinders off" instead of "antigone". Anti-tandbush to prove how off I have been I am just know getting the meaning of your blog name. Duuuh and if you don't mind Anti-tandbush I would like to type in Anti-T when I am addressing you. My fingers would appreciate less movement :-)

I have been enjoying my Mom; she is concerned about my health and came to be with me for two weeks. I successfully completed my first MS Walk. Participating in the walk was good for me. For years, I have been trying to understand the "Why Me" question when one is dealing with a chronic illness. I now know the answer...I am bless.

    Back to the post...

Paris definitely has a future. I knew she would not make it to the final two, but that is okay. She will do better not being "AI" 2006 winner. My prediction for the final two is Taylor and Katherine, they are America's favorite. Katherine will be the winner.

  7. Ladybug,

I think the Brittenums are a lot of hype. They can sing, but so can a lot of others. They were put out of the contest, when they deserved it.

  8. Binders Off,

I'm glad to hear from you, I was worried. You should have told us, about the name change. We are accustomed to hearing from you. You are blessed. Visit http://indepcons1.blogspot.com/

    You are right about Paris.

    common,
i absolutely agree with you!! they rubbed me the wrong way from jump street. they are always claiming to have so many connections to the gospel industry. i think one of them did have the talent to be in the top 12. i was just curious to see how far they would have gotten if it not were for the arrest thing. i sure hope they dont try to glorify what they did. for some reason music artists like to do that. i do hope that elliot wins!!! my husband and i really enjoy his voice and his humbleness. is that a word? LOL. i love a humble man. and i guess that is what his major quality is. mandisa can blow, for sure! but i dont think mainstream media if ready for that yet. well gotta run, ill post later.

She made me sick crying for everybody. I was tired of the mammy act. Did you see her put that mint in Ryan's hand?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Anonymous1:19 PM

no what mint? i missed it, i was at sam's. i was a little concerned with the hairstyles that they were giving her. bobby o'jay even talked about that one day. those pompom pigtails threw me for a loop. speaking of ponytails....you know the 4th of july is coming....i hate those red, whit and blue hairstyles!!!

  12. Common:

I did tell you by email, but it was awhile ago and I just start posting again last week. Sorry about the confusion.

I visit the other blog site. It is ironic you talked about Job. The book of Job is what made me accept the reality of my life. I am going to truly enjoy reading and learning from your other site. Thank you.

bishop, sorry man. i like paris too. and i think she has exceptional talent. what is her grandmother's name....i think its ann nesby, she sang with the sounds of blackness. so, paris has greatness in her blood. i am not the one to pick on anyones singing. i can sing you a few bars of something to prove my point.hehehe.

    blinders,
im glad that you have decided to work with what you have been given. i suffer from a chronic illness too. mine is called rheumatic arthritis, along with some arthritis in the eyes also. i also have ankylosing spondylitis. i wake up everyday knowing that, one day i may be crippled. but i just keep on pushing.

  15. Ladybug:

Different illness, but the same possible outlook. I don't remember the name of the artist of the gospel song "Pressing On" that is what we have to do. When your pain become extreme try playing Shirley Ceasar's song "I AM" it works wonders. Also, visit the sight Common suggested to me

    http://indepcons1.blogspot.com

You will understand why I am now suggesting it to you once you visit the site.

    Stay strong

    blinders,
in 2001 i was in a drug study for a new drug called Enbrel. i was feeling like the tin man.LOL. yikes, sometimes it hurt for me to laugh. i stopped because it was $1600 a month, that wasnt the hard part, though. the side effects were outrageous.

thanks for reccomending the song to me. my son as an iPod, i will have him download it from apple for me. seriously, i will do it. i will definately check out the site. i dont hardly watch tv, but reading is my passion and joy. i hope that you are feeling better. its suppose to be a yucky weekend.

    anti,
uh oh, now see, im gonna be honest.....i love to see men twirl like they do. they know they are some twirling men.hehehe. with they big burly self. to me they were entertaining, 'cause they were double the pleasure. the camera men couldnt leave them alone.

do you remember, scary mary from last year. she kept saying...not too shabby. she was funny too.

now about my girl mandisa, she was holding it down. she was articulate, a believer of Christ and she has a beautiful personality. i knew it was on when she sang and she took her shoes off. i want elliot or chris to win, i could listen to elliot croon all nite.

saving the best for last.....my sweetie....Mr. Dewayne Wade, umph....scrumptous....i cant even find words to use.........im speechless.......do you know him, personally?????? :) :) :). he is hotter than, fish grease. LOL.

  19. Ladies,

I'm glad you said it and not me. That's the main reason, I didn't care for them. I have reliable information, supporting that accusation. I don't want to be the one to start rumors

  20. Ladybug,

I'm with you. You're the first person to bring that up. I think one of them was a better singer, than the other. They didn't get far enough for us to really see.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous 10:41,

I'm with you, I didn't care for her crying either. I saw that incident with Ryan. I didn't see anyone crying for her.

  22. Binders Off,

I like that name also. Check this out. I find it inspirational as well.

    common,
the only thing they lacked from their performance, was some batons! they must think all that, snapping and twirling is cute.
i must admit it sure was funny, they reminded me of some old gay vaudville(sp) act. i hear they used to throw some major tantrums up in mt vernon's choir stand. but thats neither here nor there. but seeing how they act all theatrical and stuff, its probably true.

im gonna go and watch the rest of the play offs!! im rooting for the underdog, the sacramento kings....ron artest is my boy, he is fearless!!!!yeah!!!

We are getting off the subject of Common’s post. Out of respect, I do not want to clog Common's site with our current dialogue. Post your question on my blog and I will answer it there.

My blog is not what you will be expecting. When you read the only post I will have on my blog Living-with-MS you will understand why I am asking you to continue our current discussion there. Please click on my name and we can continue there.

Anti-T correct me if I am wrong. Is your name for Anti that other blog site "TM" :-) and President Bush? Give me the answer when you visit my site.
