I will be watching Bishop G.E. Patterson very closely tommorow. To see how he acts, with the former President Bill Clinton. On his scheduled appearance, at a rally for Harold Ford. I am so impressed with his bibical teaching. I would hope he hasn't become a political whore. With these latest developements, I have began to wonder. Does his endorsement go to the highest bidder? Bishop Patterson stood with President Bush, on his last visit to Memphis. He gave the impression of being conservative. His ministry has benefited tremendously. From faith based initiatives, instituted by this Republican administration. With the influence he has on the religious community. I would hate to discover. He talks from both sides of his mouth. ReplyDeleteHold on there Buster. I can say what I want about G. E. Patterson. He is just a man, like you and me. I don't share the same reverance as you. I really have done my homework. So you don't want to go there. Harold Jr. paid for the church, so what? That's just a legalized pay-off. Many Black churches would have welcomed that opportunity for free. Just for the publicity. Why did the Ford camp choose the "Temple of Deliverance"? They don't even go there. They could have rented the Cannon Center,or some of the larger churches. If size was the issue. They did it for the appearance, of COGIC supporting them. If my suspicions are correct. I hope the IRS makes him pay dearly. In the form of financial penalties. One thing you're right about. G.E. Patterson can support who he wants. The problem is, people like you. That he strongly influences, or either follow him blindly.If he now is supporting Bill Clinton. He is speaking with a forked tongue. I support Bush all the time. Not just when it is attached to a check. Unlike I suspect of your pastor. I'll be watching to see how he behaves.
You need to grow up Bishop. When Common calls you out, you'll be crying foul.After you stick your foot in your mouth.Then you're ashamed to show your face.If you have some proof.Why don't you present it,instead of running your mouth.
