He Might Be Too Late
Forgive me for being so late with my post, but my internet has been acting crazy. I like to write something everyday. I always have something to say. The biggest story of the day yesterday was Jesse Jackson being overheard threatening to castrate Barack Obama. Considering the fact that Barack was on the stage singing the praises of "faith based initiatives." I don't really blame Jackson for his statement. He is just being true to the game. Jesse Jackson is known for talking smack. He has made a career out of doing just that. Let's not be so quick to throw him under the bus. He's the one being consistent here. America was familiar with Jesse Jackson and his outbursts, long before we ever heard of Barack Obama. This isn't the first time Jackson has said something controversial or threatening. So let's not blow this whole thing out of proportion because he was talking about Barack.
Are Jesse Jackson and myself, the only two people in America who remember the past 3 1/2 years? Democrats claimed "faith based initiatives" were a trick used by Republicans to get elected in the last campaign. I have always said that was a bunch of crock. The way to the section of the community willing to do better. Is through the church. Now Obama confirms what I've always said. In recent weeks Barack has come closer and closer to the right. At this rate by November, Barack Obama will be more Conservative than John McCain. Jesse Jackson sees the writing on the wall. Barack Obama is looking for a new partner. He's not sticking with who brought him to the dance. As far as Jackson cutting Obama's "nuts" off. He might be too late.

Spike Lee takes Jackson to task for Obama comments

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) - Spike Lee says the Rev. Jesse Jackson's crudely phrased criticism of Barack Obama won't affect the Democrat's campaign, which the filmmaker expects to succeed at bringing "seismic" change to the world.
"I don't think his (Jackson's) comments help anybody. It's just unfortunate," Lee said after taking part in a Television Critics Association panel.
Lee predicted Obama would be elected in November.
"When that happens, it will change everything. ... You'll have to measure time by `Before Obama' and `After Obama,'" Lee said during the panel. "It's an exciting time to be alive now."
The presidency of the first African-American will ripple throughout arts, sports and more, said Lee, whose films include "Malcolm X" and "Do the Right Thing."
"Everything's going to be affected by this seismic change in the universe," he said.
Lee attended the TV group's annual summer session to discuss documentaries he's making for ESPN Films, including one about Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Jackson's comment about Obama came last Sunday during a break in Jackson's appearance on Fox News' "Fox & Friends." Unaware his microphone was on, Jackson told a fellow guest that Obama was "talking down" to blacks in speeches on morality at black churches; he also used a slang reference for wanting to sever Obama's testicles.
Jackson apologized Wednesday for "hurtful and wrong" remarks. Obama's campaign offered a low-key response, accepting the apology and defending against the notion that he neglected issues important to blacks.
Lee was more pointed when speaking of Jackson's remarks.
Asked if there was any validity to the criticism of Obama, Lee replied: "No. Here's the thing: I don't know why people are questioning whether Barack Obama is black enough. For me, that's an ignorant statement."
"There are middle-class, educated black people who speak the way he does. ... We have to try to move away from this so-called image of what black is, which is largely influenced by rap and that type of stuff," Lee said.
"I'm for Mr. Obama," Lee said. "I think he's gonna win. And it's going to be a better day not only for the United States but for the world."
It's one thing to disagree with Barack but to threaten to castrate him? That's something personal.
Jackson (a/k/a Rev. Baby Daddy) wasn't that mean to former Vice-President Dan Quayle. (If you consider it less offensive to call someone dope smoking, exam cheating, draft dodging, etc.)
It's like when you laugh at a child for cussing whem no one is around. He wait just as good until someone is around and he'll embarass you.
I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and he said something I thought was quite telling. Barack Obama is like a shadow box candidate. He only has 143 total days experience. So you can't blame him for his statements lately. This sudden change of positions is not due to him flip flopping, but a lack of experience.
Obama appears to be moving to the center to better his chances and get more votes.
He had to be all the way to the left to get the nomination, now he is moving to the center to reach more people.
Obama's whole campaign was about chnage, how he is not a Washington insider, how he is not your typical politician.
We of course find out now that he is the same as the rest. Do whatever and say whatever to get elected. He's no different than your run of the mill candidate running for office, he jusr made peopel believe he was for real and now he's showing us what a faek he really is, at least INHO.
He is abandoning those people who were with him from the start. Instead of change, it looks like more of the same. He's beginning to look a lot more like George Bush.We are witnessing the unwrapping of Obama.
I've watched Oreilly where Obama's peopel have said that he has to do that to get elcected so he can then institute change.
Sounds like a croc to me, his whole campaign the way I see it was to not be like everybody else. Now we see he is just like everyone other politican, he just speaks better than most.
