It's Going To Take More Than Eating Soul Food

Caroline Kennedy is trying awful hard to reignite her father's flame among blacks. She had a much publicized lunch with Al Sharpton at a popular restaurant in Harlem. Afterwards Al Sharpton proclaimed her readiness for office. As if we would expect him to say anything else. His endorsement is bitter sweet. He is 50/50 at best. Still the only thing we know about Caroline is, that she is JFK's daughter . That doesn't tell us anything about her qualifications to be New York's next senator though. In my humble opinion. She might have used all her juice when she endorsed Barack Obama. If the same guards are on duty that grilled Gov. Sarah Palin. To prove the people of her worthiness. It's going to take more than eating soul food.

She has lead a somewhat quiet life and doesnt like the press or to answer questions. She is another one who seems to feels it should be given to her based on who her family is

  4. Brian,

I don't think she should even be seriously considered. After the way Democrats treated Sarah Palin.

    Common,

I totally agree, the only thing she has is name recognition. I'm sure she's a good person as is evident by her fundraising and charity work that however doesnt mean she should get the nod.

My daughter at 17 has done charity work and things like the Special Olympics and volunterring at the animal shelter so maybe she should move to NY and put her name in the hat.

When asked by a reporter what makes her qualified she couldn't/wouldn't answer but said I'll tell you later. So after her advisors gave her the appropriate answer she later was able to respond.

She has no idea what it means to be an average citizen, she has lived a sheltered and pampered life with everything handed to her. She should start out at the bottom and work her way up like most other politicans.

Just because she looks more like her father than she does her mother doesn't make her qualified.
