It has been said that the next four years for Ron Kirk will be pretty uneventful. The new administration isn't expected to make any sweeping changes in organized labor. They will be preoccupied with the auto industry bailout and the UAW. That relegates this post in the cabinet to being pretty much ceremonial. NAFTA has been put in place and isn't likely to change.
