Still Around

Here is an example of what I was talking about in my last post. On so many levels what he says is right but I also can read between the lines. Why even bother consulting with an "admittedly reluctant appointee"? They will only sabatoge the process. Don't take them for granted. They are still around.

  1. I predict a lot of people will eventually be moving back to Memphis. If they don't run to Missisippi before they figure it out. It may take a while (like maybe six or seven years) but this is where the trouble is going to be for some of the county residents.

    Senator Norris made a move yesterday that will eventually leave a lot of county residents out in the cold. Many of them won't be prepared to absorb the increase in property taxes required to maintain their own schools. See how those not-so-poor people feel then.
