Happy Memorial Day

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Over 225,000 Americans died in World War I.

Over 400,000 Americans died in World War II.

Over 64,000 Americans died in Korea.

Over 58,000 Americans died in the longest war
in American history, Vietnam.

There have been 2,464 deaths in the Iraqi war
this far, and climbing.

These Americans, through a supreme sacrifice,
bestowed upon us an opportunity
to pursue liberty and justice for all.

We will remember them.

Lest we forget.

  2. Thanks for remembering the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Let us also remember the love ones who are in a better place.

  3. I hope everyone has had a delightful Memorial Day. As well as remembering those no longer with us. I hope we didn't overeat, while we're still here. LOL
