I'm Not Really Sure

I was hesitant to post this message, because of the timing. I don't think it has anything to do, with the Republican party itself. Not according to Democrats though. Since same-sex marriage amendments are on ballots, all over the country. They're trying to paint a picture of conservatives being hypocritical and judgmental. Let's just say we discovered a Democrat, who practiced beastiality. Would all Democrats be accused of that? This is more of indictment of the person in question, than any organization or party. They came out with the Foley scandal too fast. The people have figured it out, and already gotten over the shock. The latest charge is directed at a minister. Ted Haggard was the leader of an evangelical group against gay-marriage, with 30 million members. In addition to a 14 thousand member church, founded by him. He has stepped down from both positions. Needless to say a lot of people listened to him.

Let me first say I'm not condoning his actions. If indeed they are true. In my humble opinion. There's not many things worse than a homosexual, hipocrite. Though I know some will say I am, because I introduce a spin. I think he used methamphetamine, but I don't think he had gay sex. In a letter of apology, he said he was guilty of sexual immorality. Continued involvement with a person of this character, would qualify as such. He still hadn't said exactly what he did. I think he got caught up in the mix. This man had a following of over 30 million people. He's in too deep. I don't think he would chance that. I will be following this story to see how it turns out.

I think if you read the post. It explains the dilema Common has.The ministers first mistake. Was to be involved with a punk, in the first place. It's guilt by association.

  2. Another spin is…It is possible the accuser committing extortion and Haggard decided to stop paying for his sexual impropriety.

  3. Bishop,

I thought I explained it clearly in my post. I knew people would misinterpret my point. Since Haggard is perceived as being a Republican. They just want to nail him to the wall. I look at him as being a pastor first. Are all pastors homosexuals? The whole thing in a nutshell. I don't believe Mike Jones

That's what I'm talking about. The preacher can't hang out in the topless bars, trying to convert the strippers.
