Where we examine both sides of the coin and let the chips fall where they may. It's always heads or tails. You can't honestly decide unless you look at both.
This probably doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but I found it inyeresting. I think it's ironic that the president's birthplace would be in question and the only recollection of his youth would be in a foreign land.

The president of the local chapter of the SCLC has had it pretty rough today. It started early this morning with Pastor Dwight Montgomery appearing on WLRM 1600. The callers were eager to let him know they thought his efforts and travel to Kennet Mo. in support of Heather Ellis was a waste of time and money. It didn't help that the young lady plea bargained for the same deal that was offered to her two years ago. It was a publicity horse that didn't finish the race. He mentioned the Jenna 6 incident in his conversation more than once. Those who were pushing this were hoping to gain similar media attention, but it didn't happen as planned.
Those who seemed to be the most critical of him have screwed the pooch themselves in the past. At first I thought he was being extra with his responses, but as the day went on I saw it was needed. Some people can't disagree without being disrespectful. So you have to tell them where to get off. I don't agree with why he said it, but I agree with what he said. "You can't pick and choose what another person is upset about. You should address what bothers you."

I hope the commission doesn't just hand this appointment to Justin Ford, the son of the interim mayor and former holder of this same commission seat. Unfortunately he'll probably get it soon enough. But let him run. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/dec/02/25-justin-ford-aims-fathers-county-commission-seat/?partner=popular
