More Drama

Sarah Lewis was reelected to the school board over Cherry Davis  by garnering 900 of 1681 votes. This shocking selection is rooted in the same vein that feeds the Janice Fullilove supporters I mentioned in an earlier article. They miss the buzz Sarah Lewis brings to the school board. On an otherwise increasingly cooperative board, she is more drama.

This Is Just Drama

At first I was just as put off as everyone else when I heard about the many 911 calls made from the home of  Councilwoman Fullilove. Then I read the article in the Commercial Appeak and I was painfully reminded of the sometimes unresponsiveness of the MPD. The article explains how the calls were amassed over a period of time and what they were for. After closer examination many of the calls are well within the scope of her unpopular positions as an elected official and the unpopular position she sometimes takes. Incidents like this further endear her to her base. She is a drama queen and this is just drama.

What Else Can We Do

Even though we live in an era where the trend in apparel seems to be more and more revealing. I guess they aren't the ones buying airplane tickets.The average citizen still isn't prepared to take an x-rated photo at the airport in the name of safety.The pat downs are receiving even less of a stamp of approval. What else can we do?
