Early Idol

There is no way he can officially win but General Larry Platt unofficially won the Idol tryouts. I like his energy and I totally agree with what he said. We won't see him again but we won't forget him. He is an early idol.

Hold A Note

As time goes on it becomes clear that Rhianna is wild and loose. That's what her and Chris Brown were fighting about. She is like the latest version of Paris Hilton. The world wants to watch her antics and they're willing to pay. I hope she doesn't sell herself to cheaply though. She is not just a body. She can also hold a note.

Good Move

Sarah Palin just signed a deal with Fox News that will make her a political pondent to be reckoned with. Democrats and liberals talk about her like she was in the oval office anyway. Even though she was out of sight she was not out of mind. Now she can be seen several times a week. Since I didn't want her to run for president. I think this is a good move.

He Was Right

I see I'm not the only one that noticed the rattlesnake in the middle of the room. Why should we be surprised when someone is bitten? The issue of race and stereotypes doesn't disappear just because we have a black president. When Harry Reid said Barack Obama was an articulate, light-skinned black man minus the black dialect. He told the truth. The majority ofeele black leaders past and present have been of light complexion but in possession of a fiery tongue. The Republicans and Michael Steele are overeacting. He wasn't being racist. He was right.

He Got Swindled

The newly formed "Nigerian Connection" is nothing but a unwarranted distraction in my opinion. Nigerians aren't so convicted in their Islamic beliefs all of a sudden that they are willing to become suicide bombers. I wrote a blog about why recruitment should be slow in the black community right after the failed bombing attempt. More attention has been paid to the actions of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab after the failed attempt than before it happened. His fathers earlier warnings about his son's actions fell on deaf ears. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab -+is one of the few who has bought into this foolishness. Unfortunately he will pay with years of his life. As quickly as he came on the scene he will disappear. He got swindled.
