Heads Should Roll

There are only two ways Dearick Stokes is not in the custody of the MPD. For those who know what I'm talking about. He has a hand or it was total apathy on tte part of the deputy jailers. After his last escape, His name and face should have gained extra attention. Heads should roll

Not Really Surprised

The verdict finally came back in the Duanna Johnson beating case. I refer to it as her case even though she wasn't actually on trial. She was killed in November of 2008 in an unsolved shooting. This case was to determine whether Officer Bridges McCrae was guilty of violating her civil rights when he clocked her with a pair of handcuffs.

This case had the makings of being controversial from the start. The officer was white, and the victim was black. Which normally is enough to cause it in itself. Not to mention the fact that Duanna's birth name was really Dewayne. These are just my feelings. Officer McCrae was fired from his job and The officer no doubt was excessive but Duanna didn't help matters any. The fact that it ended in a mistrial. I was not really surprised.

I was downtown and I heard someone singing. I don't know if it was the far lady, but it wasn't a familiar voice.

They Can't Go Back

I was watching the Kimoro Simmons reality show and I noticed she has a new baby boy. That would be nice if it wasn't adding her to the ranks of being another unwed mother. The one thing that was noticeably absent was a husband or even a fiancee. Then I started to think. What does she have in common with the other glamour girls of our time?

It might not be what you think. You would have to be familiar with where they've been to understand how it relates to their situations now. For the same reason these four women will always be in relationships below where they've already been. They can't go back.
