Too Early

I am going to dedicate today's blogging to Memphis sports. I'm still bittersweet about the University of Memphis basketball program. My disdain started when they were still known as Memphis State. That program would never gain optimum success in the R.C. Johnson era. They didn't treat Coach Larry Finch right. He is still the  winningest coach the university has ever had. But Josh Pastner had nothing to do with that. Neither did the players.

Now that the program has new leadership at the helm. Clean the slate completely. Get rid of  the sense of entitlement based on past accomplishments.  They need to forget about rankings and tournament seeds and just play.  I have been saying all along. They lost all the important games at the beginning  of  the season. If they're playing good now it's about time. Every time they get some national attention. They immediately lose a game. I noticed this in a Farrakhan Hall interview. They start taking credit too early.

Too Much

This woman should spend more time singing and less time trying to tell her questionable story.  The more people hear the less they care. Now that viewers are familiar with her and the way she behaves. Even those who believe she was beaten by her ex-boyfriend Memphitz, don't think it was an unprovoked attack. This hasn't worked for her like it did for Rhianna. It seems to have given Memphitz a new beginning and backfired on her. I didn't really know anything about him until she told his story. I think he was a fall guy for Vibe Records and K. Michelle was just colllateral damage.

The problem I see here. K. Michelle is a bully that needs a manager that can keep her in line. A MANager if you will. Kind of like Stevie J. and Jocelyn or Kirk Frost and Rasheeda. That's what she thought she had until Toya came into the picture. Most people only get fifteen minutes of fame, she was lucky enough to get thirty.Time will tell if she uses them wisely. But like she always does. She will probably give too much too soon.

The Boss

The more I see of Mendeecees the less I trust him. This guy is shady. He may have not been driving, but he was in the car. I think Mendeecees is lying. And Yandy doesn't believe him either. Read her statement below. She just doesn't want her baby's daddy to be a slacker. I bet she financed his studio. This marriage will never happen though. Because Mendeecees wants to be in charge. But Yandy is the boss.

“We call it taking candy from a baby,” Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor Demetra Maurice said in regards to Mandeecees sexually assaulting a minor.
“An adult like Mendeecee Harris can easily manipulate a child into doing things like performing “sloppy top” – with words, with actions and later, with money,” Maurice said.
According to Cliffview Pilot, Yandy, family, and friends sat in the court room to support Mandeecess this past Tuesday. Although Yandy was not mentioned in their report, she was definitely there, covering her face with a coat to avoid photographers.
If convicted, Mandeecees could face up to 20 years in prison and from the outside looking in, Mandeecees doesn’t seem that convincing. Earlier in the month the victim, now 19, testified on the numerous sexual assaults that happened when she was 15&16 years old.
Cliffview Point reported on the girl’s testimony:
The alleged victim in the teen-sex trial of Mendeecees Harris testified today that he told her she was “better than [her] mother” after coercing her into “working jaws” by revealing his knowledge of a dark secret from her past.
Speaking in a barely audible whisper, her voice sometimes breaking, the now-19-year-old woman told jurors in Hackensack that the former “Love & Hip Hop” star went from being a “father figure” she could trust to someone who forced her into sex for money after she moved into his Lodi home in the summer of 2009.
After moving in with Harris, his girlfriend and her brothers, the woman testified, she routinely reported to him for permission to go out, among other reasons. Her mother was usually at work while she was home with Harris and the boys after school, she said, during questioning by Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor Demetra Maurice.
Because she didn’t have much of a connection with her mother, she said, she confided in Harris.
“Mendeecees made me feel comfortable. He would give me advice. He’d say ‘It’ll be okay between you and your mom’,” the woman said.
Then came an afternoon when, with no one else home, she realized in the shower that she didn’t have a towel.
“I asked him to get me one, and he did,” the woman testified. “Then he came into my room and suggested I let him [pleasure himself] on me, but I just laughed.”
The suggestions continued, she said, until she relented. She said Harris then gave her $15 or $20 “for lunch or maybe a ball game.”
But that wasn’t enough for him, the woman testified: Using an extremely private piece of information, he coerced her into providing “sloppy top”.
“He told me he knew I had been forced to have sex when I was 8 years old,” she said, “and he found out from my mother.
“ ‘Your mom doesn’t want you here’,” the woman said Harris told her before exposing himself.
She said she complied with his desire out of spite “to get back at my mom.”
“I felt betrayed by her,” she said. “I didn’t tell her about it until I was 14, and it was something I didn’t want anyone to know.”
Similar favors were demanded – and provided — for “$15 or $20” when she needed money for expenses, the woman testified. Eventually Harris enlisted her younger brothers by suggesting, when they asked him for money, to “talk to your sister. She knows what she has to do.”
The relationship ended, she said, when her mother took her cellphone to punish her for missing curfew and found a message on it from Harris.
“I heard them in their room yelling, I felt bad,” she said. “She came in my room and she was livid. She told me to get out. She was just screaming to me to get out. I don’t remember if she said why.”
The woman said she went to a friend’s house to spend the night.
“My mom didn’t know where I was,” she testified, “but Mendeecees did.”
The next day he came to find her, she said. He told her that her mother had packed her belongings – and then asked her: “Please don’t tell her anything about us,” the woman said.
“He said she didn’t know anything, so don’t say anything. It was something he would ‘take to his grave.’ He [also] told me they were done.
“I felt horrible,” the woman said. “At one point Mendeecees and my mother were going to get married. I felt it was all my fault.”
Harris faces seven counts of illegal sex with the girl, including giving her money as an inducement, Maurice told the jury, outlining a “very skillful manipulation” of a young girl who “had had a bit of a rough upbringing.”
Some of the incidents allegedly occurred while the youngster was still 15 and others after her 16th birthday, when Harris was more than four years older – the standard in New Jersey for statutory sex assault.
If convicted of the charges, Harris would face up to 20 years in prison.
Defense attorney Brian Neary called the incidents fabrications.
“He never asked her for sexual favors and never, ever offered her money,” Neary said during opening arguments today, adding that the teen was troubled and “had her own problems.

The case was filed against Mandeecees long before he appeared on “Love & Hip Hop” and the young girl says she didn’t know he was with Yandy or on the show until recently. She was also reported to have been ashamed and very soft spoken during the trial, making it hard to believe this is being done out of spite on her part. Mandeecees claims none of this never happened it was reported he was near tears during the whole thing.

I figured Governor Chris Christie out a long time ago. He never was behind Mitt Romney from the start. Him being elected president would destroy any chances he might have of winning the Republican nomination in 2016. He slammed the door on his future with Conservatives after Hurricane Sandy. When he allowed President Obama to use him to make his plate look clean. Giving voters the impression, "if he could work with Gov.Christie. He could work with anyone. It had to be the other side not cooperating"..

This is what has hurt the Republicans in the last two elections. They bet on a horse that might not make it through the entire race. John McCain was Independent at best and Mitt Romney was a Mormon. Three million Conservatives didn't even vote. I'm not so sure they would come out for Christie either. Especially now. As I said before Chris Christie should have gone on a diet. The best thing he could do is lose 100 lbs. He can cater to Democrats all he wants. They will only use him and vote against him. They'll take his compromise for weaakness. He is after a group he can never reach like that.  Give them an inch, they'll want a mile. The American voter is superficial.

Write A Book

I don't know how I feel about this union yet. Janet Jackson and Wassam Al Mana have slipped and tied the knot. I'm feeling bad for Jermaine Dupri right now. She ran through his money over the last nine years. Then she up and left suddenly. A year after she broke up with him, she's already marrying a billionaire.  When was the courtship? I'm not so sure  Wassam Al Mana is all the tabloids claim he is  Where did this guy come from? With all these hungry, young ,beautiful women out here. A 37 yr old white man with loads of money wanting an older black woman for his wife. Something about this whole thing doesn't pass the smell test.

The truth always comes out in the end. Janice Jackson has always had a thing for light, bright or either white men. Could claiming he is a billionaire just be a cover-up? When in actuality he is just another average Joe who hit the jackpot. She might need to take a page from Lisa Raye. The pre-nuptial was for her benefit not his. All her marriages have been a secret. I think I know why. If things don't work out. She would rather be called a goldigger than a trick. If she pulled this off for real. She needs  to write a book.

This song is actually pretty good. I know ole saditty Olivia is feeling like a fool right now. She looked down her nose at Erica Mena and looks like she might have a hit before she does. It also looks like Rich Dollaz might have played himself too. Instead of being a man and standing up for his woman. If indeed she really was. He let people like Peter Gunz and Charlamagne talk against his woman/artist to his face. And he didn't stand up for her. That's a Buster move. He laughed right along with them. But who is laughing now?

You would be hard pressed to find information surrounding that infamous day on January 20, 1981, when the remaining American hostages were released after four hundred forty-four days of captivity in Iran. Much to the surprise of everyone, to a social activist named Jesse Jackson. It took thirty something years and a movie for some of us to find out what really happened. The  real covert operation happened three-hundred fifty six days earlier in operation Argo.

As I look deeper into this cover dispute.  I see things differently than I did at first. As usual Fantasia has a problem with tact. But she doesn't mean any harm though. She just doesn't know any better. Why won't the people give her a break.? They looked the other way with Alicia Keys and she is a homewrecker too. I still feel Fantasia has a legitimate complaint on this one. Thet wouldn't even try this on Keysha Cole. What's wrong with wanting to convey a more mature, sexier look than her American Idol days? She is just aiming her dissatisfaction at the wrong people on this one. All these details should have been written in the contract. Her issue should be with her management team.  Not the people at the magazine.

Some of this stems from a general disrespect for Fantasia and wanting to keep her in a box . Every since it was revealed that she couldn't read, it has been downhill somewhat for her. Just the other week Beyonce made a similar request to the Superbowl people about a photo, only to have it done immediately with no questions asked. When everything is about brand these days. Her image is important to her too. She doesn't want to be remembered as the dark skinned woman with the big lips who could sing. Fantasia isn't a beauty queen by any means, but she cleans up well. The girl is fine. Not like a Halle Berry, but maybe a Mary Mary. Tina Campbell especially. A diva to the max. Though deserving, her own biggest fan. Fantasia has to be feeling slighted having her wishes not being honored on something as important as this. She might gain some new fans from this interview. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression .

Spend It All

Memphis music needs it's own niche.  I agree with Kenneth Whalum on this one. He has been a strong advocate for Memphis music for years. I just don't want him and his clique to reap all the rewards. He has always wanted to be a celebrity disguised as a preacher. His family has strong musical connections. His son and brother have played for some of the top acts in the industry. We need to discover the new Miguel or maybe even a Robin Thicke. With the invention of the Internet and modern media. Another Issac Hayes would give this city new life. I still hear his music in commercials even now. Nothing has been produced yet to take its' place.

David Porter isn't sleeping on this. That's why he started this MMT Consortium. He has been in the  middle of a thriving record company before. They just  weren't prepared for their success back then. He is hoping to strike gold one more time. Most of those artists at Stax came from Memphis. They discovered J. Blackfoot  on the corner. His first audition was behind  the liquor store. The biggest record he ever recorded (Taxi). He didn't make a dime. Had his business been in order. Instead of doing low budget shows in Sunset Ark. with Thaddeus Matthews before he died. He should have been rich off royalties alone. But he wasn't rich, he was broke. Even though Stax recording went bankrupt. David Porter didn't steal the money, he blowed a lot of his too.  He just didn't spend it all.

The Backbone

Where is this overwhelming support we always hear about in regards to gay rights? With gasoline being over $4 a gallon and unemployment hovering around 10%, for blacks even higher than that. Rosie O'Donnell and Elton John's partnerships just doesn't matter that much  Same-sex legislation has been voted down in the majority of states over and over again. Only to  have it overturned by some liberal judge or have it forced down our throats at a later date. How many tines do the people have to vote no to have their wishes respected?

This will be the president's legacy. He is batting 100 when it comes to supporting gays. The fact that this has been the only thing he has pushed with success. Leads me to believe he is being used to advance the wishes of others who are undercover. Politicians seeking reelection don't want to be labeled as a supporter. But they don't have the backbone to be an opponent either.

This little gremlin looking character is civilized society''s worst nightmare. He is leading a whole generation astray. How can you convince young men to pull their pants up, and speak correct english? When Lil Wayne is making all the money and getting all the girls.  In the past we had rappers pretending to be thugs for record sales now they really are the scourge of our community.  No longer are we in the days of a  L.L. Cool J and Ice  Cube. Those rappers sending  their children to private school, and them drinking bourbon and playing golf themselves. Those are truly the exception  If it weren't for them being rap artists. Lil Wayne and the people he hangs out with. These are the guy's who would be stealing your cars and breaking into your houses.

Lil Wayne is a troublemaker to say the least . He is the one they use to test the waters.  You better believe Birdman is behind this whole Miami H eat/Chris Bosch thing.  He has sent his boy out again. He isn't going to do anything to get banned from the NBA events himself. He is the one who lost  $3 million  betting against the Heat last year. Lil Wayne is not a warrior. Check out how he namedrops all of those other rappers who supposedly are down with him.  Meek Mill and his crew are providing backup these days. He was with Drake when he got into the fight with Chris Brown. Now both of them and several others are riding shotgun with Lil Wayne on this foolishness.

I agree with the league on this one .  Don't let these hoodlums get a foot hold with the players. I only  wish they had banned that "Lester Wallace" also. I see a "Fab Five" controversy in the making. These guys have no fear of going to jail. They probably like the atmosphere anyway. Incarceration is not a deterrent for some of them. In the past two weeks Lil Wayne has shown his natural behind and thumbed up his nose at authority. An untrained dog doesn't have table manners. And if you don't watch them, a puppy will lick you in the mouth. Don't leave the gate open. A pit bull on the loose is dangerous.

Willow Smith refusing to do the play "Annie". Is just the tip of a bigger problem in the Smith clan.  Will isn't as open to this "swingin" relationship between him and Jada as he pretends to be. As long as it was him doing the tipping it was fine. She exercised her option, and now he can't take it. In the meantime him and his wife have let their children run wild while they were doing their own thing. It's not the fault of the children. All they know is what they've been taught.

Where is Willow's older brother Jaden? He will soon be a full grown young black man. Not a mannish little boy who is the responsibility of his rich parents. Willow is at the point where she wants to do more than wear crazy colors in her hair. The other day she was pictured with a tongue piercing. I'm sure Will breathed a sigh of relief when it turned out to be a fake. Just because the tattoo washes off, doesn't erase the mindset that put them there in the first place. She is growing up faster than Britney Spears little sister. Jamie Lynn already has a baby and is planning on getting marriied.

I hope Will hasn't waited too long to tighten up his reign. These children are set in  their ways by now. They won't want to change.  I guarantee Will wasn't raised this way. I don't see this with his older son Trey. He had more of what you might call a traditional upbringing even though his parents are divorced. His father Will is an enigma. He has obtained success in spite of himself. The same won't necessarily be true for his children. I can already foresee problems in the future for them. Especially for little Willow, she is a female. She won't hardly meet a man as successful as her father. His life is like a dream.  He has finally started to smell the roses.  But unfortunately in every bunch there is at least one thorn.

Dead Horse

I asked this same question on this blog seven years ago. Are there such things as ghosts and are we being plagued by them? I was disappointed in the position my City Councilman Lee Harris took regarding the park issue. He suggested temporarily renaming the parks. He has designated this as the low point of his career on the council. Personally, I think it was when he proposed Gay rights legislation be added to the city charter. From that point on his fate was sealed. He can't speak out against anything. His vote is compromised.

I think the former mayor was right about this. The right to protest is one given by the constitution. Why didn't Janis Fullilove get overcome with  emotion when Mayor Herenton provided the KKK police protection? It wasn't politically expedient then.   She didn't want to challenge the "tall glass of water" as she calls him. Suddenly her and Wendi C. Thomas are in agreement. This is just another Red Herring issue the race baiters bring up from time to time. To keep the pot hot and bubbling. Most of these people protesting the name of the park. Have never even been there.

I  think the council is playing the old bait and switch again. I haven't heard what Kemp Conrad has to say. He is being unusally quiet. He already knows how this is going to turn out. While the citizens are focused on a trivial matter such as this. They're approving a hidden tax or funding projects for special interest groups.  I think this is just like the plight of the sanitation  workers. "The truth can't be known until the lie is revealed". The workers short sightedness in the past didn't prepare for the future. The more you talk  about it . The more educated the citizens become. After so long a dead horse starts to smell.

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes. I can't believe Kim Kardashian is going to risk losing her coke bottle figure to have a baby. But this isn't any baby. This one is worth a mint. Judging from the looks of this picture. She will probably never be a 6 oz. again. Kim is looking more like a liter.

PS: Kris Jenner is in pre-negotiations with Jenny Craig.

He Is Rich

Where there's smoke, there's fire. How did a NFL Quarterback get a tag like being Gay? If you aren't clocking the honeys. Why don't you have a woman until now? Marrying Porsha Williams-Stewart isn't proof. All she knows is he is rich.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, a video has to be worth even more. This is a prime example of what I've been saying about Gucci Mane all the time. He has bullied his way into popularity among his peers. He shut down arguably the toughest interviewers in all of Hip Hop radio. The "Breakfast Club" usually gets all the juicy details. Not this time though. This is the first time I've ever heard Charlamagne at a loss for words. He barely mentioned the Ice Cream Cone tattoo Gucci Mane has on his face. Though they had a field day joking about it when he wasn't there.

Getting someone in the business to call Gucci's name is like pulling eye teeth. T.I. didn't even address him talking about him and his wife. The closest I've heard to a diss is Cadillac Kimberly talking about one of his exes she doesn't like. Even then she kissed up to Gucci. Making Nina Brown look like she was a scorned lover, and  got played by Gucci Mane. Talk about wanting to avoid any trouble. The attention seeking Yung Joc even went as far as to thank him for dissing him. When you bring up his name in Hip Hop period. All you hear is Burrr.

Don't Open

In every rumor there is a grain of truth. I like Wendy Williams but I believe she is guilty of starting this one. This is what I was talking about with Kandi Burrus last week. No matter where you go, there you are. I think in her rise to fame. Wendy encountered a number of rejections. That's why her success is so sweet now. She had to beat tremendous odds to get where she is now . I think she uses her success as a way of paying back people that disappointed her in the past.

I know Wendy has heard all about the Unsung episode on EPMD the other night. This is going to open up a can of worms for her. There have also been allegations of sexual harassment surrounding her husband in the past  Have we found her other kryptonite. Other than the one she admits to. How long will it before it reaches her "Hot Topics" segment of the show? She went in on CoCo and Ice T and even talked about Pink and her ex-husband. But she still failed to mention anything about the Erik Sermon interview. How did she miss that?

Your past will come up at the most inopportune time. Wendy walked down the runway for the first time in her life the other night. She has probably never felt more beautiful than she does right now. At a time when she has loss weight, and her show is at the top of the ratings. Something she probably regrets she ever did has come back to haunt her. If you have skeletons in your closet. Don't open the door.

No Excuse

When I look at this picture I can't help but wonder to myself.  Where was Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan? They would have rounded this picture out. They all make their living off the exploitation of the plight of the black race. Both real and perceived. Jesse Jackson was actually around Martin Luther King Jr. during the marches. But the rest of them were busy building their own brand. I forgot about Dick Gregory. He is part of that crew too. Anybody who loses 100 lbs., automatically people listen to what they say. Just because you are good at one thing. Doesn't make you a jack of all trades. Just because someone can speak doesn't make them a preacher. But this post isn't about them.

This blog is about the controversial  Paul Mooney. The barefaced, long head, comedian always talking about white people and using the n-word. Personally, I don't think he is that funny. He is the black man Chris Rock talked about in his routine. That would kill his white wife first, if there was ever a race war. Or the militant in "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" who ran over the black girl to get to the white one. In other words they talk a good game. But they don't practice what they preach. They would pass with flying colors if it wasn't for white women and pork.

Paul Mooney has to have one of the best PR teams in the business. This guy has been a major player in comedy behind the scenes for at least forty years. But you can't find a picture of him over ten years old. I know he has been on the Red Carpet at some point during that time. He would rather have people question his sexuality as opposed to his partners' race. The reason would most likely be his ex-wife is white. I'm not against interracial relationships. Just all the black spokesman turning out to be hypocrites.  To whom much is given much is required. You can't yell fire in a crowded building and get people all excited. Just because you're getting paid. Is no excuse for telling lies.

Fixed And Furnished

I was just talking about houses being sold in Atlanta for a dime on a dollar. But this is something different. Allen Iverson's house is being sold for $2.5 million, when he paid $5.9 million three years ago. That's not as cheap as I said, but this is different. This house doesn't need decorating or repairs. The house is fixed and furnished.

Women and men are literally dying to get bigger butts these days. Illegal butt injections are the rage among young black women. Personally, I think this has been going on for quite some time. At first it was only popular among drag queens and strippers. Now the women in the club and and on the mic are getting them too  The danger didn't  just present itself. It was just happening to what are considered as undesirables. Except to those who associate with  them. Now it's happening to the lady in your church or who works at the neighborhood liquor store. In the strip club capital Atlanta. Every other big butt you see is pumped.

Out Of Reach

I don't really think any of these women were originally goldiggers. Not in the way some of them are now. They were with these men before they got rich. Monica Joseph-Taylor and Funkmaster Flex, Tashera Simmons and DMX and Liza Morales and Lamar Odom were all childhood sweethearts.  They got with these guys and even had children before they even started out in their respective fields. All except for Josie Davis. These couples grew up together. Her man practically raised her. She met Floyd Mayweather when she was sixteen. She has made her lifes calling having children for him. She and Liza Morales have both had three children by their longtime boyfriends. But neither one of them unfortunately has gotten a ring.

The only white woman on the show. Cheryl Caruso lost her husband Phil Caruso to prison. But I think she'll be alright though. She hasn't crossed that color line yet. At least not on the show. Look at what happened to Kim Zolchiak. Something about white women who hang with black women, but don''t like black men. Goes a long way with white men. She already knows how to be a hustler's wife. That makes her more exciting to a square.

Prison is where Zakia Baum got Maino from. His come-up was her. Something tells me he is a hustler. Plus he seems to have a way with women. He met a woman who could offer him more than Zakia,. Then he left her. She just gambled and she loss. Shaniqua Tompkins had a child by Fifty Cent before he was famous. She is beginning to envision life after Fifty stops paying child support. Though he never really included her in his new life. Except for Floyd Mayweather, he is by far the biggest celebrity with the most money being highlighted on this show . He shut his baby's mother down before she even taped an episode. I expect Josie Davis to be silenced next.

All these women have one thing in common. Their best years are behind them. Once you have two or three babies by a man. You have given your best to him already. To avoid  the backlash from their children. If their father stays around until they're ten and eleven years old. I know it seems unfair to the mothers. But really they need to wait until their children are grown before they bring another man into the house. Married or not. Contrary to what most people think. Money doesn't always make it right. Look at Shaunie Oneal and her two oldest boys.  Her new man doesn't meet their approval. That's just the beginning though. She and Shaq have three more.  Imagine the child support her and Josie Davis are getting. But look at their personal lives. They will never meet men that give them new identities until it doesn't matter anymore. Juanita Leonard is one in two million. She hit the lottery twice.

When it comes to explotation. I can't believe it's because the executive producers only choose to highlight black relationships. I just think as a general rule white men with money don't avoid their responsibility. It's usually an issue of paternity with them. I have always said "there should be a special place in hell for women who lie about their children's father". Equally as important though. "Black men shouldn't be keeping score with black women". Take care of your responsibilities.  The Bible makes it clear in Proverbs 13:22 "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just".

If a man is simply trying to upgrade to what looks like a five star chick.  It's not his baby's mama's fault. If you've been dating someone for ten years and have three children and he still hasn't married them. She's probably not  the one they want. Once these men become successful. It's unfair to expect these women to leave them. It's like going from a Cadillac to a Kia. Unlike the Hollywood Exes, who are capable of picking up and moving on. What rich rapper or athlete is Tashera Simmons going to meet?  Even Andrea Kelly is having a hard time adjusting. She has bank and booty both. Poor Tashera has neither. These are average women put out of reach of average men.

God Made A Farmer

Superbowl XLVII

Baltimore Ravens 34    San Francisco 49ers  31

Neither One

Whenever I see Jermaine Dupri, I can't help but remember something I heard an old player once say. "A sucker is still a sucker even when he has the bag". When everybody you deal with walks away with as much or more than you.  That indicates there is a problem. Either you're a spendthrift with money or the people around you are using you. It could be a little of both. But I think in Jermaine Dupri's case it's mostly the latter. All his former main squeezes have more money these days than him. But they have no sense of allegiance to him.

The first woman he invested in turned out to be an open homosexual and a convict to boot. Da Brat could actually rap and she was cute. She could have been a big hit in Atlanta even until now. But she should have kept people guessing about what she liked. She came out before it was cool.  Plus I think people wanted to see her feminine side. Where was her older sister Lisa Raye's influence then?  Even though she is the picture of a goldigger. That would have been a better look. Since Da Brat was never known to be Jermaine's girlfriend.  That really didn't count against him. It also didn't help his image either. He was known for making it rain in the strip clubs. What's the odds of hanging out with a woman whose tab was as big as his?

That was the direction of things to come. The group "Xscape" broke up over the favoritism Jermaine Dupri was showing Kandi Burrus. The two were dating at the time. Though she seems to be generous to a fault with everybody else.  That doesn't seem to extend to Jermaine Dupri though. I don't know what happened between them. But it's still festering twenty years later.  She claims her issues are with members of the group. There were only four of them and two of those are sisters. Her and Tiny are the best of friends. So who is she talking about? With the juice her and Tiny have in Atlanta they could do something to help J.D out. How can they not show up for the SoSo Def reunion? It's their music alma mater. Most people would want to go and show off their success. There is something they don't want the people to know I bet.

For the last eight years Jermaine Dupri has had one of the most high profile girlfriends on the planet. Him and Janet Jackson have been an item. Not only did she get engaged shortly after they split. The only mans' career she has helped lately is Justin Timberlake. He got bigger while Jermaine was going broke. While her and Jermaine were together, they only spent his money. You never heard of Janet buying Jermaine anything. Look at Jay Z, T.I. and Wiz Khalifa. They all used their lady's popularity to their advantage. We've seen Beyonce every way but naked. But the only man's hand we ever seen on her was Jay. Nobody wants to see Tiny naked, but apparently many already have. T.I. wants to keep it quiet. So he created a show of his own. Wiz Khalifa made a come up with Amber  Rose . He beat out big money Kanye West.  All of them are a player a boss or both.  It seems Jermaine Dupri is neither one.

I don't see how a house that was worth $20 million three years ago, is only worth 5.9 today. I think those properties might have been put on the market with certain buyers in mind. Have you noticed how all these distressed sales are taking place in cities with professional sports teams? Professional athletes and rappers are targets with cash. They are usually the only people with that kind of money and no concept of how to put it to good use.

This house has six bedrooms, sixteen bathrooms and four kitchens. Who needs this much space by themselves? Tina Knowles no longer has a family at home. She will have to hire around the clock help to maintain this property. This house has 25,000 sq. ft.  That's more than twice the size of most of the mansions in Atlanta. This is overkill anywhere.

I'm not for these professional ball players being taken advantage of by goldiggers But I'm not in favor of them making babies with homegirls and only paying what guys working as diesel mechanics pay either. Don't hate a woman for trying to make a come up. She was alright when she was turning flips trying to have your baby. Now since you went to the big city and saw those fancy women. You want to upgrade without the hassle of negotiating the trade.
